Leading Change is Liberian organization founded September 13, 2011 in response to the global call to intensify efforts for youth development and to promote full youth participation in national and global development processes. We focus on working collaboratively with communities, partners, governments, youth groups and individuals to develop sustainable solutions that can transform communities and greatly impact lives.
Since its formation, the organization has taken a unique approach in research, analysis and the dissemination of alternative information for individuals, communities and national development. In working towards the realization of our vision, we focus on recruiting, training and developing the skills and expertise of youth in Liberia with a focus on five key program areas: Civic Education, Information Technology & Leadership Development, Community Development, Agriculture Development and Research, Analysis & Advocacy. As a means of continuous capacity building, the organization greatly benefits from an internal capacity development strategy that focuses on mentoring her volunteers through leveraging our network of young professional Liberians in business, politics & leadership, private investments, the banking industry, consultancy etc.

What We Do
Our long term vision is to see a Liberia where both children and adults are fully valued and given equal opportunities to engage in and to lead critical initiatives for community and national development. Leading Change also envisions a society that is more integrated and where democracy thrives–a world where children enjoy basic freedom, participate meaningfully in civic and political life, inequalities are minimized, exclusion gives way to greater appreciation for pluralism, and governments and public institutions are fully accountable for children’s protection and development.
To work collaboratively with partners at all levels in developing solutions that brings about sustainable change through the provision of strategic and operational planning framework, civic education and leadership innovations that can have lasting impact and truly transform lives.
Humility is our first value at Leading Change. We expect humility at all times from each of our leaders because we truly believe that a leader is just a servant.
At Leading Change, open mindedness is a culture. Through this value, we encourage change leaders to be considerate of other views even if those views are in disagreement with theirs.
